High School Soccer - Non Varsity Opponent knocks off Cristo Rey

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Non Varsity Opponent soccer squad scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Cristo Rey Royals.
The (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Thurston (Redford, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Thurston was overwhelmed by Henry Ford Academy (Dearborn, MI), 5-2, in a non-league test.
The Royals now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Cristo Rey will clash with a team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Thurston (Redford, MI). The record now stands at 8-11.
