The Comets (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN). The Johnnies enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, St. John's Prep was edged by Little Falls (Little Falls, MN), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN) in a Class A Section 8 battle, on Monday, September 8. Crookston will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Dutchmen enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN).
