Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) and the visiting Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC), saw High Point Central's soccer squad hold off Thomasville by a count of 2-1.
The Bison (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Bobcats enter the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Glenn R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-3, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Rowan for a non-league match on Thursday, September 4. Thomasville will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Lexington Senior (Lexington, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-5.
