The Murray Tigers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Marshall County Marshals to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Calloway County for a District 2 bout on Thursday, September 4. Murray will face a Lakers team coming off a 9-4 league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 6-3.
The Marshals (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Maroons come into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Madisonville-North Hopkins edged Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY), 6-0, in a league game.
