In Tuesday's league outing, the host Monroe Hornets soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Ross Rams.
The Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH). The Golden Eagles go into the Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern outing with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Bellbrook edged Waynesville (Waynesville, OH), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Rams now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edgewood for a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern test on Thursday, September 4. Ross will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.
