New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, New Castle advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Trojans host Eastbrook (Marion, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Eastbrook won 9-0 in their recent league outing against Blackford (Hartford City, IN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage outing, on Thursday, September 4. Yorktown will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Marauders go into the outing with a 5-2 record after their 3-2 league win over New Palestine (New Palestine, IN).
