With the triumph, North Brunswick moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Scorpions host South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-4. South Brunswick lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)

The Knights now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Union for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. West Bladen will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-2.
