Kentucky High School Soccer - North Laurel knocks off Whitley County

In Tuesday's league outing, the host North Laurel Jaguars soccer squad scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Whitley County Colonels.
The Jaguars (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY). The Mountaineers go into the District 49 outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Oneida Baptist Institute was overwhelmed by Madison Central (Richmond, KY), 4-3, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Colonels confront the Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 4. Whitley County will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 4-2 league win over Harlan County (Harlan, KY).
