Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the The Oakwood School Eagles (Greenville, NC) and the visiting Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC), saw The Oakwood School's soccer squad triumph over Ridgecroft by a count of 9-0.

The Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC). The Colts enter the NCISAA Tarheel match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Albemarle School achieved victory over Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC), 4-3, in a league match.

The Rams now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Gates County for a non-league match on Thursday, September 4. Ridgecroft will meet a Red Barons team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC). The Red Barons record now stands at 3-1.
