Davenport Bulldogs (Davenport, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bristow Pirates (Bristow, OK), 8-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Davenport improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Depew (Depew, OK) to battle the Hornets in a Class A match on Thursday, September 4. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 5-3.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Perkins-Tryon Demons (Perkins, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Bristow will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.
