The Forsyth Central Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting South Forsyth War Eagles to 5 in the Bulldogs league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Forsyth for a 6A Region 6 battle on Thursday, September 4. Forsyth Central will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 9-5 league loss to Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, South Forsyth moves to 5-10 on the season. The War eagles host Creekview (Canton, GA) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a record of 11-1. Creekview won 1-0 in their recent league outing against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA)
