The Lake Oconee Academy Titans softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars to 5 in the Titans non-league win on Tuesday.
The Titans now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln County for a 1A D-II Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 4. Lake Oconee Academy will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Thomas Jefferson Academy moves to 6-3 on the year. The Jaguars host Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA) to meet the Gators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 3. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 1-9.
