The Mexico Bulldogs routed the visiting Marshall Owls softball team by a margin of 13-5 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowling Green for a Eastern Missouri battle on Wednesday, September 3. Mexico will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Highland (Ewing, MO). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Marshall moves to 1-2 on the season. The Owls travel to Oak Grove (Oak Grove, MO) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 5-1. Oak Grove won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Holden (Holden, MO)
