Georgia High School Softball - Whitefield Academy sneaks past McEachern

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Whitefield Academy WolfPack softball squad scored a close 4-3 triumph over the McEachern Indians.
Next, the WolfPack play the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 5 challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Whitefield Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 7-5 league win over Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA).
The Indians (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots enter the 6A Region 3 challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Paulding County edged Campbell (Smyrna, GA), 16-9, in a league challenge.
