Colorado High School Softball - Rifle can't get by Palisade

The Palisade Bulldogs edged the visiting Rifle Bears softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. Palisade will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Lobos come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 13-7 league loss to Greeley West (Greeley, CO).

With the loss, Rifle moves to 4-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Longmont (Longmont, CO) to confront the Trojans in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 4-3. Longmont lost 18-11 in their recent non-league battle against Monarch (Louisville, CO)
