The Riverdale Raiders triumphed over the visiting Stone Mountain Pirates softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Raiders play the Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 26-5 non-league win over Morrow (Morrow, GA).

The Pirates (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Luella (Luella, GA). The Lions go into the 3A Region 5 test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Luella toppled Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA), 22-5, in a league test.
