California High School Volleyball - Big Bear overwhelmed by Academy for Academic Excellence

September 2, 2025: Big Bear City, CA 92386

Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA), 3-0 in a league test.

The Knights (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The Silver Knights come into the Cross Valley challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Riverside Prep beat Excelsior Charter (Victorville, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bears face the Hesperia Christian Patriots (Hesperia, CA) in a Cross Valley test, on Thursday, September 4. Big Bear will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 9-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Serrano (Phelan, CA).
