ALA - Mesa North Mavericks (Mesa, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Mavericks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Show Low (Show Low, AZ). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record.
