The Alpena Leopards volleyball squad (Alpena, AR), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR)

The Bobcats (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Timberwolves enter the 2A 2 contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Cedar Ridge notched a victory over Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Leopards meet the Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR) in a 2A 2 contest, on Thursday, September 4. Alpena will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR).
