North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Wilkes overwhelmed by Ashe County

The Ashe County Huskies topped the visiting North Wilkes Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Huskies confront the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) in a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A game, on Thursday, September 4. Ashe County will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).

The Vikings (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks go into the Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Elkin was dropped by Surry Central (Dobson, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
