With the win, Bucklin improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Red Aces host Ingalls (Ingalls, KS) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Southern Plains-Iroquois test on Tuesday, September 9. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 7-0. Ingalls won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against South Central (Coldwater, KS)

Next, the Blue Jays meet the South Gray Rebels (Montezuma, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Ashland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cimarron (Cimarron, KS).
