Minnesota High School Volleyball - Bertha-Hewitt over Upsala

The Bertha-Hewitt Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Upsala Cardinals to 0 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Verndale for a Park Region outing on Thursday, September 4. Bertha-Hewitt will play a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Staples-Motley (Staples, MN). The Pirates record now stands at 0-2.

The Cardinals (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN). The Thunder enter the Prairie match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle gained a win over Laporte (Laporte, MN), 3-0, in a non-league match.
