South Carolina High School Volleyball - Westwood overwhelmed by Blythewood

The Blythewood Bengals topped the visiting Westwood Redhawks volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Bengals now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Valley for a AAAAA Region 5 outing on Thursday, September 4. Blythewood will play a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sumter (Sumter, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Westwood drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Ridge View (Columbia, SC) to play the Blazers in a AAAAA Region 5 outing on Thursday, September 4. The Blazers come into the outing with a record of 5-3. Ridge View won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC)
