South Carolina High School Volleyball - South Aiken over Brookland-Cayce

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) and the visiting Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC), observed South Aiken's volleyball team top Brookland-Cayce by a count of 3-0.

The Thoroughbreds (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Blue Flame enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Pickens notched a victory over Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bearcats battle the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 battle, on Thursday, September 4. Brookland-Cayce will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).
