Clements Colts (Athens, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Brooks Lions (Killen, AL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Clements improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Colts host Rogers (Florence, AL) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Rogers lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL)

Next, the Lions play the Central Wildcats (Florence, AL) in a 4A Area 14 challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Brooks will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 11-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bob Jones (Madison, AL).
