The Bruton Panthers volleyball team (Williamsburg, VA), was tipped 3-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA)

The Packers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Warhill (Williamsburg, VA). The Lions enter the Bay Rivers contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Warhill got by Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette for a Bay Rivers battle on Thursday, September 4. Bruton will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.
