In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hancock Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Chassell Panthers.

The Bulldogs (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Houghton (Houghton, MI). The Gremlins go into the Western Peninsula test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Houghton achieved victory over Jeffers (Painesdale, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bessemer for a Copper Mountain test on Monday, September 8. Chassell will meet a Speedboys team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Watersmeet (Watersmeet, MI). The Speedboys record now stands at 1-3.
