In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Cherokee Washington Braves volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors.
With the win, Cherokee Washington advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Braves host Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to face the E'Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The E'Hawks go into the test with a record of 1-0.
The Warriors now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheldon for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will face a Orabs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Orabs record now stands at 3-0.
