North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southeast Raleigh crushed by Clayton

In Tuesday's league battle, the Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) volleyball squad toppled the host Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Clayton improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Comets host South Garner (Garner, NC) to encounter the Titans in a Greater Neuse River 7A battle on Thursday, September 4. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 1-9. South Garner lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Felton Grove (Apex, NC)

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 7A contest, on Thursday, September 4. Southeast Raleigh will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 3-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Garner (Garner, NC).
