North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cornerstone Charter over Millennium

September 2, 2025: Mount Airy, NC 27030

The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Phoenix Academy for a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A bout on Thursday, September 4. Cornerstone Charter will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 2-5.

Next, the Lions battle the Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A contest, on Thursday, September 4. Millennium will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Bengals enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC).
