North Carolina High School Volleyball - Croatan over Northside - Jacksonville

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Croatan Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs.

The Cougars (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Richlands (Richlands, NC). The Wildcats come into the Coastal 5A/6A challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Richlands went down by White Oak (Jacksonville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Monarchs now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Carteret for a Coastal 5A/6A test on Thursday, September 4. Northside - Jacksonville will face a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 9-0.
