St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. Joseph improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Bears travel to Mattawan (Mattawan, MI) to face the Wildcats in a Southwest Michigan - West test on Wednesday, September 10. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 5-6. Mattawan lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI)

The Chieftains now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles for a non-league game on Thursday, September 4. Dowagiac will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to St. Francis (Traverse City, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 7-5.
