North Carolina High School Volleyball - Salisbury crushed by East Rowan

In Tuesday's league battle, the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) volleyball squad toppled the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, East Rowan improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Mustangs host South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to encounter the Raiders in a South Piedmont 4A/5A battle on Thursday, September 4. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 7-3. South Rowan won 3-2 in their recent league contest against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC)

Next, the Hornets battle the Lexington Senior Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 3. Salisbury will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Randleman (Randleman, NC).
