The East Union Eagles (Afton, IA) volleyball held off the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Diagonal for a non-league match on Thursday, September 4.
The Sabers (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Martensdale-St. Mary's held off Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
