Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) and the host Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA), observed Ridgeview's volleyball team hold off Eastside by a count of 3-2.

The Wolfpack (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against J.I. Burton (Norton, VA). The Black Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, J.I. Burton was edged by Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thomas Walker for a Cumberland battle on Tuesday, September 23.
