In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Flatonia Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Hallettsville Brahmas.

The Bulldogs (11-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 17-8 record. In their last challenge, Fayetteville got by Manor New Tech (Manor, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Brahmas meet the Louise Hornets (Louise, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Hallettsville will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 11-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, TX).
