In Tuesday's non-league match, the George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) volleyball squad overcame the host West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Rebels battle the Terry Bulldogs (Terry, MS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 4. George County will attempt to move on its 14-6 season record.

The Mustangs (0-9) will now prepare for their match against Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Tigers come into the Class 6A Region 3 bout with a 3-1 record.
