The Giddings Buffaloes volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Taylor Ducks to 0 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buffaloes now have a 13-17 record. They play next when they host Columbus for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Giddings will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Victoria East (Victoria, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 21-4.

The Ducks (6-13) will now prepare for their game against Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 5-20 record. In their last game, Pflugerville Connally was dropped by Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
