The Volunteer Falcons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Grainger Grizzlies to 1 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now possess a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tennessee for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3. Volunteer will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league win over West Ridge (Blountville, TN). The Vikings record now stands at 8-2.
The Grizzlies (2-2) will now prepare for their game against West Greene (Mosheim, TN). The Buffaloes enter the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, West Greene gained a win over Hampton (Hampton, TN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
