Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary (Paducah, KY). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record.

Next, the Eagles play the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Graves County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
