Florida High School Volleyball - Vernon over Holmes County

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Vernon Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Holmes County Blue Devils.

The Yellowjackets (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cottondale (Cottondale, FL). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Cottondale beat Gadsden County (Havana, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Holmes County will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Wewahitchka (Wewahitchka, FL).
