In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Taylor Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lafayette County Cougars.

The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Maud (Maud, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Maud went down by Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smackover for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Lafayette County will face a Buckaroos squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Harmony Grove (Camden, AR). The Buckaroos record now stands at 2-1.
