Texas High School Volleyball - Lanier crushed by Seguin

In Tuesday's league match, the Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) volleyball squad prevailed the host Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Matadors confront the Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 match, on Friday, September 5. Seguin will attempt to advance on its 18-14 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 0-18 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX).

The Voks now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edison for a 5A Region IV District 27 battle on Friday, September 5. Lanier will encounter a Golden Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX). The Golden Bears record now stands at 7-9.
