The Waiakea Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Laupahoehoe Seasiders to 0 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kea'au for a Big Island I outing on Thursday, September 4. Waiakea will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Pahoa (Pahoa, HI). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Laupahoehoe drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Seasiders host Parker (Kamuela, HI) to confront the Bulls in a Big Island I game on Tuesday, September 2. The Bulls go into the game with a record of 5-0. Parker won 3-0 in their recent league game against Konawaena (Kealakekua, HI)
