Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY) and the visiting McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), observed Muhlenberg County's volleyball team top McLean County by a tally of 3-0.

The Mustangs (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Franklin-Simpson was beaten by Portland (Portland, TN), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Hopkinsville Tigers (Hopkinsville, KY) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 4. McLean County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Todd County Central (Elkton, KY).
