Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Lakers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Dutchmen come into the West Central challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Melrose beat Montevideo (Montevideo, MN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mainstreeters face the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers (Morris, MN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Sauk Centre will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Central Area (Barrett, MN).
