The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets enter the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Asheboro notched a victory over Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Timberwolves battle the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) in a PAC Seven 4A/5A contest, on Thursday, September 4. Montgomery Central will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record.
