Illinois High School Volleyball - Mt. Zion tips Unity Christian

The Mt. Zion Braves volleyball squad scored 2 points and limited the host Unity Christian Lions to 1 in the Braves non-league victory on Tuesday.

Next up, the Braves confront the Effingham Hearts (Effingham, IL) in a Apollo game, on Thursday, September 4. Mt. Zion will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Maroa-Forsyth was tipped by Heyworth (Heyworth, IL), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
