Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) and the host St. Marys Bears (St. Marys, KS), observed Nemaha Central's volleyball team top St. Marys by a count of 2-0.

With the win, Nemaha Central improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Thunder travel to Jefferson West (Meriden, KS) to encounter the Tigers in a Big East battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Bears now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riley County for a Big East battle on Tuesday, September 9. St. Marys will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS). The Falcons record now stands at 3-2.
