North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Section Lions (Section, AL), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Bison (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Crossville (Crossville, AL). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Crossville beat Coosa Christian (Gadsden, AL), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL) in a 2A Area 16 challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Section will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
